Waste beverage packaging is usually composed of three main materials: paper, aluminum foil, and plastic. These composite materials are widely used in daily packaging, such as milk cartons and juice boxes, with good moisture-proof, oxygen-proof, and freshness preservation functions. However, due to their complex structure, it is difficult to effectively separate the valuable components in traditional waste disposal methods. Basic Recycling Process

The entire recycling process is generally divided into three core steps: crushing, separation, and purification. The recycled beverage packaging is first preliminarily crushed to make it into sortable pieces. Subsequently, paper fibers are stripped from the aluminum-plastic layer using, for example, hydraulic separation. The pulp can be used for re-paper production, while the residual aluminum-plastic mixture goes to the next step in the process, where it is further separated to completely separate the aluminum foil from the plastic.

Key equipment and technical advantages

The core equipment of the paper-aluminum-plastic separation line consists of a crusher, a separation tank, and an aluminum-plastic separator. The modern processing system has the advantages of fully automatic control, low energy consumption, and high efficiency, especially without the use of strong corrosive chemicals, but still can achieve a high purity of pulp recovery rate and aluminum foil recovery rate. The whole process is environmentally friendly and pollution-free, suitable for large-scale industrialized operations.

All three materials after efficient separation can be utilized as resources. The pulp can be used for the reproduction of toilet paper and wrapping paper; the separated aluminum foil can be re-melted and used to manufacture aluminum products; and the plastic can be used for the production of recycled plastic particles, which can be applied to injection molding, building materials, and other fields. This set of environmentally friendly recycling processes, not only greatly reduces the pollution of waste to the environment, but also brings considerable economic benefits to the enterprise, realizing a win-win situation of environmental protection and commercial value.
